Tula is designed as a simple, privacy‑focused app for splitting expenses among friends, family, or groups.

Tula collects only the minimum information required to provide core functionality such as account creation,
group management, and expense sharing.
Google Sign‑In:
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID.
This information is used solely to authenticate your account and allow you to access your groups and expenses.
We do not access your contacts, calendar, Google Drive, or any other Google data.
App Data Stored in Firebase:
Tula stores your groups, expenses, settlements, and related metadata (such as timestamps and group membership)
in Firebase Cloud Firestore. This data exists only to provide the app’s functionality.
No Sensitive Data Collection:
Tula does not collect financial account numbers, payment card details, contacts, messages, photos,
device identifiers, analytics, crash logs, or any personal or sensitive information outside what is required
for expense sharing.
3. How We Use Your Information
Since Tula collects only minimal data, all information is used strictly to provide app functionality:
creating your account, syncing your expenses, and enabling collaboration with other users.
No data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or personalization.
We do not mine or analyze your data for any secondary purposes.
4. Third‑Party Services and Data Sharing
Tula uses Google Firebase services to store and sync your data securely.
No Ads or Trackers: Tula includes no advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking technologies.
No Data Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties.
Your data is never transmitted to any server other than Firebase, which is governed by Google’s privacy
and security policies.
Backups: If your device performs automatic backups (such as Google Drive backups),
these are managed entirely by your operating system and governed by those providers' privacy policies.
5. Compliance with Google Play Policies
Tula fully complies with Google Play’s User Data, Permissions, and Developer Distribution Agreement policies.
Prominent Disclosure: The app clearly states that it uses Google Sign‑In and Firebase only for authentication
and data storage.
Limited Use: All data is used solely for expense‑splitting functionality. No data is used for unrelated or
secondary purposes.

Your data is protected by Firebase’s built‑in security features, including encrypted transmission and secure storage.
Additionally, your device’s operating system provides sandboxing and account‑level protections.

Tula does not knowingly collect, request, or process personal data from children under the age of 13.
